Samurais İn RPGs

İt’s worth to point that the media, including RPGs, treat the Samurai as someone who uses almost exclusively the daishō: the set that comprises the katana (two handed saber) and wakizashi (short single-edged sword). However, the samurai should also be able to wield other weapons. Some of then are: the tantō (combat knife), bō (quarterstaff), kanabō (two handed war club), naginata (polearm similar to a glaive), yari (spear), tanegashima/teppo (rifle) and the yumi (last but not least, it’s the asymmetrical bow).
