Adventuring Parties vs. Other Organizations

Adventuring parties are different from other institutions. They’re not:

*Armies, because they’re not oƒƒіcially part of the institutions of a kingdom.

*Militias, because they’re not necessarily bound to a given area, or involved w/ a side of a war. And they doesn’t necessarily comes from the local population.

*Mercenary companies, because, albeit they can accept a reward (and plunders a fucking lot inside the dungeon), sometimes they can help the local populations for other reasons (just because they want, or because they’re in some way personally involved in the situation, etc.).

Generally adventuring parties are sui generis organizations not bound to a single area, much as sometimes they call themselves “mercenaries”.
